Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last
few hours, and I must say they are VERY patient.  By now, however,
9 F7 F" f, k1 t5 f" {+ G; v3 qthey should be used to me and my toys.

I stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
$ e, e/ Z% m, l$ s: w" I, N. W" jscanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
Target, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
6 }1 [+ x/ K) G7 F- Ball of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
of dollars for more than I need.
9 h# ^8 e5 S$ f5 o: g/ `! ~
# |6 `6 q5 Q5 j$ U" @This scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
ones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
/ P$ L% k2 d& s$ O4 y' j) ?$ w! {Dollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
  F  t/ _1 e1 l5 d, a4 qshould be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
+ A; w- n! C7 J1 U' M( f5 C7 tthe years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
5 [: b  e# H7 u8 p& T9 d- \2 n4 xthose people in really old photos are!
