+ D6 S( g  s2 d' @4 M+ GIn preparation for Citizenship and Immigration Canadas new Off-Campus Work Permit Program (OCWP), SDCs International Student Services will be presenting OCWP Information Sessions for Westerns international students and interested members of the Western community.  (NOTE:  As of June 1, 2006, international students at Western will be able to request Verification Forms - details will be released very soon).


The OCWP Information Session will:
# K% o! {3 r2 {3 b0 v·         Provide details on the OCWP Program
·         Explain the application process (including obtaining Verification Forms)
# K3 A3 ^! I! ]8 d1 a9 v  W. x·         Assist students with questions they may have about the OCWP Program
  B' t. u) X" K7 {2 U8 UIt is strongly recommended that international students interested in applying for an Off-Campus Work Permit attend one of these information sessions.

) j3 H; }7 Y8 G) ~! r5 }  _The Off-Campus Work Permit Program information sessions will be held on:
8 W- W: j* @( P# ~! y. Y+ X·         Tuesday, May 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
3 ?9 s. z  e# n( f0 n' L8 P$ W) r9 X1 q·         Tuesday, May 30 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
·         Wednesday, May 31 from10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
! _, o+ }2 t8 P( m$ o3 c·         Thursday, June 1 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
·         Friday, June 2 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
All sessions will be held on the 3rd floor in the University Community Centre in the USC Council Chambers (Room 315).

5 J, p" x+ a4 X6 cAdditionally, SDCs International Student Services will be providing guidance and advice on the completion of the Off-Campus Work Permit application form, or regarding the Off-Campus Work Permit (OCWP) program, during OCWP Drop-in Hours (no appointment needed).

O.C.W.P. Drop-in Hours will take place in Room 270, on the 2nd floor of the UCC at the following times:

. @* b: H" K5 y0 u8 a" P·         Thursday, June 1 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
