JOB SUMMARY
9 d/ @1 W3 U( K4 I# U: d  s5 Z/ EThis position is responsible for accounting activities within the finance department including, but is not limited to, analyzing trends, job costing analysis, variance analysis, interpreting results, and providing high-level pro-active financial analysis for assigned regions and/or divisions. The position is also responsible for providing financial result regional presentations to both regional and field managers. This position will also be responsible for forecasting and budgeted of assigned regions.# e3 O; {) R) `
JOB SCOPE
0 B% j( \; W2 ?9 E4 d/ w• Perform high quality variance/trend analysis and present results at regional meetings
3 D$ w; Z. c$ r+ e) N3 h* k# @* Y% \• Provide a high level of customer service to Regional and Operation Managers
+ J, j5 t1 b" n! ^• Analyze, reconcile, and action balance sheet and P&L accounts8 r0 g6 H2 q2 J
• Assist and/or take control of monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts and budgets
% @2 A3 ~- }! Z& A4 j4 s• Prepare assigned areas of the reporting package each month
2 E8 H5 U9 M" s& A8 [3 @• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries while executing assigned month end tasks according to established closing calendar deadlines
) w; X; \5 y) F, m4 v• Other finance duties as assigned
" V% l0 M, o2 a5 [  Z0 NKNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
2 d" W5 j" _7 w; m  D2 W0 c2 j• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
/ k* ~( g9 J4 X- [# V# |• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
4 A5 B$ Y1 E3 {• SAP or other similar ERP software experience considered an asset+ Y8 P+ H+ H% ]1 A0 x
• Able to perform duties with minimal supervision( E* [3 ]7 Y. G  G3 o  {
• Ability to work with various levels of management : F% \& p2 c$ u1 E' a' ?
• Highly analytical with great attention to detail3 x2 w+ g9 G3 K( [+ B' _( C
• Superior customer service skills
' U2 A% e3 M$ i+ y  W+ [* {3 V' T3 ~• Excellent written and communication skills+ f6 O) p: q0 l+ L1 r
CREDENTIALS / EXPERIENCE
3 l. O6 R1 }# l8 c• Post-Secondary Education 8 q  N) T. ~9 t1 y. O& d$ u
• Currently enrolled in the CGA or CMA program is considered an asset, but not necessary: o' ~& H) R+ }/ e
• 3-5 Years working experience" Y; ?9 W! R# K% B" E
; V' n! n: }- ]! s) s
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1 ^! O; w; f8 t• Office environment " u/ f' _8 a" L& ^; l
• Monday to Friday during business hours+ E$ [* V3 ^: O$ p  S
• Some travel required (very minimal)
