* h- U3 m! U# U: kA female pedestrian has died in hospital after being struck by one of two cars that went airborne in a crash near Credit Valley Hospital this morning.
/ Z+ o. i; \& D+ ^$ C- C# i# {* Q) dPeel Regional Police have shut down the intersection of Erin Mills Pkwy. and Eglinton Ave. after the crash between a Honda Civic and minivan occurred around 11:20 a.m.
! |, U, F+ }; V2 jAlison Weeks, 42, was one of two people at the intersection waiting for the light to change. She was transported to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto via air ambulance.
Cst. Erin Cooper confirmed this afternoon that Weeks died in hospital.
' ~% c$ ~2 ^$ z3 ~& m5 xThe force's Major Collision Bureau is investigating the multi-vehicle crash.
