A single-car rollover crash on the Queen Elizabeth Way killed a Mississauga woman and injured five other people late yesterday afternoon.) N) m$ _6 A9 ]5 i* z
The woman's name has not been released pending notification of next of kin. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
* b1 x- c S8 Z+ uThe Niagara-bound QEW was closed for several hours before being reopened shortly after 8:30 p.m.

/ l- o# W" {) X" {3 wThe Ontario Provincial Police said the southbound SUV struck the left median barrier, veered across several lanes, struck the right barrier, rolled onto its roof and stopped.
2 P/ ^. Z+ | A, D; pCst. Graham Williamson of the OPP said the accident involved a single car, a 2001 Ford Escape SUV that was carrying six people. He confirmed one woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a passenger.% u# e. K" @5 [/ Y' ^0 b+ e' F6 x
The youngest passenger was transported to McMaster Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries while the other victims were taken to Hamilton General and Joseph Brant Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.8 L% `/ W4 h# d+ r
Williamson would not confirm the ages of those injured. Police say no names would be released until next of kin have been reached.* ]. F, u% k' L; L/ V
