Responsibilities
· Source, build and retain your client base
· Market yourself and your business to attract newclients
· Provide insurance needs advice based on riskassessment
· Provide sound financial advice to help grow yourclient’s financial portfolio (Life and Health Insurance, IndividualPrescription Drugs and Dental Insurance, Critical Care and Long Term CareInsurance. Individual & Business Disability Insurance. Special ClassInsurance, Travel Insurance, Business Protection, Employment Benefits).
· Understanding of your individual clients needs basedon their unique circumstances
Requirements:
· Experiencedin proactively identifying and executing ways that customers’ needs can bebetter met through a strong understanding of their requirements and expertknowledge of products and services.
· Excellentinterpersonal and relationship management skills as well as a strong serviceorientation, focused on achieving exceptional service standards.
· Undergraduate degree or diploma in BusinessAdministration with one to three years relevant experience in a financialinstitution or equivalent combination of training and experience.
· Proven ability in sales and service tofinancial customers.
· Strong knowledge in financial advice andplanning (Savings and Investment, TFSAs, RESP, RRSPs, RRIFs, Annuities, RetirementPlanning, Family Financial Planning, Education Plans).
· Experience in engaging in and securing newbusiness from existing and prospective customers.
· Expert in general banking services, includingdetailed knowledge of financial products and services.
· Hold or plan to have Life LicenseQualification Program (LLQP) , IFIC or CSC
