ONLINE Art or Math or English Teacher for Tutoring Grade1 to Grade 6 Students

Queensview Education is a leading private tutoring company, we are helping students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 in a variety of subjects including Art, Math, English and French by offering a fully personalized approach. + H+ l1 q5 y! q/ Q' w/ b5 y' eCurrently, we are looking for highly qualified Art, Math, or English tutors who are creative and able to produce enjoyable and positive learning experiences; B. C0 f$ T8 V. O* _
$ q6 N8 w& d) v Z, jResponsibilities:1 \ @ X( X) W' v
1.Grades 1 to 6 tutors are responsible for a group of 8 to 10 children virtually.
6 t8 X$ M( P8 e8 y2.Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
3 a4 v: A7 O- J3 u4 S, d3.Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required
. b9 \/ a$ c3 f& U+ J/ a6 j4.Familiar and Follow the updated Ontario Ministry of Education criteria.
$ T1 U u; w7 k1 c3 L# R+ m: i. T$ Y1 t8 d5.Develop and prepare teaching/tutoring materials and customized tutoring programs
8 j3 {8 |* A4 u0 {6.Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in handling students' needs., |: f/ I8 D, M0 d3 V1 W) b
7.Recommend the study books or teaching materials to class
8 H. i2 M$ b5 y8.Familiarity with using zoom or Google classroom
# t% |# ^; Y) h9 w9 q0 q9.Proven ability to work well independently. R7 Y' B: A3 p) l, d
10.Evaluate each student’s academic level and performance and provide a suitable class level.
' ^, d6 x% p4 l9 \: Q8 f/ k$ a9 ]4 [4 _4 B! m; M% m
Education/Experience Requirements:
; w2 n" J+ x! D' P3 t1.Teaching certification of OCT is an asset2 ]- Q4 X2 J$ y
2.1-2 years of teaching experience.
& e# W" g5 u$ b1 k+ i: i( D3.A demonstrated ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom" P# Y6 X" p8 b1 S k
4.Tutors: Not Required, references and transcript as an asset
( e' H2 T4 v8 j; e" x9 p v5.Must be available 10-20 hours per week+ X% Y! ~1 i$ @- i5 g
