The Ontario Provincial Police said the southbound SUV struck the left median barrier, veered across several lanes, struck the right barrier, rolled onto its roof and stopped.3 v6 q1 g8 F: H7 a
Cst. Graham Williamson of the OPP said the accident involved a single car, a 2001 Ford Escape SUV that was carrying six people. He confirmed one woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a passenger.
) U: h* I. M8 I$ }0 jThe youngest passenger was transported to McMaster Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries while the other victims were taken to Hamilton General and Joseph Brant Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
